Rita Goldthorp joined MGA in the summer of 2002 and
immediately set about working to encourage people throughout the Southwest to
form support branches.
This is an area of work that Rita enjoys very much having had
previous experience with setting up support groups for NCH the children's
charity and Action for ME. As a carer herself Rita is very keen to promote help
in this area. With over 16 years experience in the charity field Rita is
finding MGA a new and very different challenge. When not working she is likely
to be doing crazy things with her Grandchildren or walking her dog Ruff. The
occasional visit to the local WI, local craft workshops and travel also help
keep her out of mischief. |
